The Table
Henry Valentine Furniture are proud to offer this plank design table with a choice colour base, and rustic or refined finish.
Seasoned industrial planks are selected and joined to offer an industrial look or a smooth refined finish. Each plank is 3.5cm thick new or reclaimed. For 5.5cm thick timber add £75 to each price point.As every table made in our workshop is handmade, we guarantee the highest quality finish. We celebrate the natural variations in tone and grain, carefully selecting pieces to add depth and quality to the final aesthetic appeal.
Dimensions
Each table can be customised to your specifications. We can make small square 90cm tables to large 3 metre rectangle tables. We also make oval and round styles. if the size you want isn’t available, just ask and we will accommodate. Standard height of a table is 75cm.
The Finish
We have a range of high quality oil based wood stains, providing a luxurious finish whilst protecting and nourishing the wood. Further durability is provided by the Osmo top oil providing a durable finish protecting against stains, water marks and spillages. We apply multiple coats that harden over time, your table will look pristine for many years and can easily be maintained. This finish protects against even the most challenging stains such as wine, oil, and hot coffee. All of these can be easily wiped away with a damp cloth. Because we use solid wood parquetry, your table can be sanded and refinished should you wish to change the colour in future years. Choose from a range of different colours at checkout. If you want something else, send us the colour and we will match it.
The Base
This table shows a black X shape steel base, perfect for maximum chair space and a sleek functional look. However, we also offer wooden bases, legs and other styles. You can choose from these at checkout. Click here to learn more about our table legs
Wood Movement Guarantee
Our tables are made by highly skilled craftsmen, using high quality kiln dried timber and products. It is impossible to entirely remove the risk of wood movement as the table adjusts to temperature changes in its new home. We are confident in our craftsmanship so offer a wood movement guarantee. If you have any wood movement issues within the first year of owning your table (any movement will happen during this time), we will bring it back to the shop for a full service or fix it in situ where possible.
